Engineers make a big contribution to Singapore. They design, construct, operate, and maintain, turning concepts into reality. I was glad to meet and thank many of them personally last night at a reunion dinner for the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Class of 1985, the pioneer batch to graduate from NTU.
These NTU alumni have built successful careers, contributed back to NTU, and helped make it an outstanding engineering college.
I hope the Class of 85 will continue to inspire younger generations to become good engineers and good citizens. Congrats on your 30th anniversary, and thank you for inviting me to your celebration! – LHL
